Fanart Friday: Philippe Buchet

Posted a while back on InediSpirou, originally from an exhibition at the Galerie Bruxelles–Paris, these sketches by Philippe Buchet (who has worked with Morvan on Sillage and with him and Munuera on the spin-off Nävis) were not strictly fanart, but rather preparations for a proposed one-shot that never happened. One more page under the fold, follow the links to see more, which seem to show Spirou and Fantasio as (American?) soldiers in WWII. Strange concept, if you ask me…

I grew up reading Spirou in Scandinavian translations. Now I'm learning French and trying to decode the originals.
