Just a quick heads up that like last year, Dupuis and the Journal de Spirou are holding a “Spirou Festival” as part of the Brussels Comics Festival (Fête de la BD/Stripfeest) on 4-6 September. This Spirou Reporter facebook post from last year collects links to a number of galleries from the 2014 festival, to give you an idea of what it’s all about. So if you have a chance to visit Brussels next month, save the dates!
Update: According to the official program (via the unofficial Émile Bravo blog), Bravo will show his sequel to Le journal d’un ingénu (“The Diary of a Naive Young Man”), presumably as a work-in-progress, at the festival on 5. September, between 16:30 and 17:00.
Other presenters with past or upcoming Spirou albums include Yoann, Vehlmann, Fournier, Tome, Janry, Munuera, Trondheim, Tehem, Feroumont and Zidrou, among many other exciting artists. Dupuis will also present “Publishing Scoops” about upcoming albums and comics, so there could be more interesting news coming out of the festival.

Is the information on Émile Bravo’s blog also to find in Dutch?
You mean the Spirou Festival program? Not that I can find. It shouldn’t be too difficult to interpret, though.
I meant that, yes. That’s weird, since Belgium is bilingual. But yes, it’s really easy to interpret, if you know ‘entretiens’ means ‘interview’.
