Publications Update Update: November 2014

As so often happens, a publications update is immediately followed by other announcements. So let’s very briefly add some words about upcoming Spanish and Danish releases:

The field-gray bellhop goes to Spain

Schwartz & Yann; (c) Dibbuks, Dupuis and the artists; image adapted from facebook.com)Dibbuks, the new Spanish Spirou publisher, has announced that their first publication will be Le Groom vert-de-gris (“The Field-Gray Bellhop”, or El Botones de Verde Caqui in Spanish) by Schwartz & Yann, coming this February. The first volume of the Tome & Janry intégrale should also come out around that time, according to previous information.

Franquin; (c) Fluide Glacial, Cobolt and the artist)In addition to their Swedish releases (represented in the last update with an edition of Franquin’s Idées noires), the Danish publisher also has a publication program at home. Carsten Søndergaard revealed that spring will bring Danish editions of Le Groom de Sniper Alley (Spirou #54, “The Sniper Alley Bellhop”) by Yoann & Vehlmann and La Grosse tête (“The Big Head”) by Makyo, Toldac & Téhem, as well as Idées noires in Danish too (as “Franquins Sorte Sider”).
