Adhering to no fixed schedule, here’s the second part of Spirou in the Land of the Eskimos by Jijé.

Spirou in the land of Eskimos p. 4, from JdS #51/1940 (ill. Jijé; (c) Dupuis and the artist; SR scanlation)

Spirou in the land of Eskimos p. 5, from JdS #51/1940 (ill. Jijé; (c) Dupuis and the artist; SR scanlation)

Spirou in the land of Eskimos p. 6, from JdS #51/1940 (ill. Jijé; (c) Dupuis and the artist; SR scanlation)

While Spirou Reporter‘s translation policy is usually to stick as closely as possible to the original, in this case I felt giving the Eskimos (or Inuit, if you prefer) an incongruously slangy way of speaking helped make the rather antiquated “white savior” story a bit more tongue-in-cheek.
