The collection of short Spirou stories by Yoann & Vehlmann will be coming out as Spirou & Fantasio Hors-Série #5: Les Folles aventures de Spirou (“The Crazy Adventures of Spirou”) on 6. October.
The upcoming Spirou one-shot by Hanco Kolk, previously known as Het IJzeren Gordijn (“The Iron Curtain”), has a new title: Tulpen uit Istanboel (“Tulips from Istanbul”). It also has a release date, 25. October, and will also be released in a deluxe edition. For now, though, the album is only being released in Dutch, not French.
On 15. August, Marc Hardy celebrated his sixty-fifth birthday by posting 65 samples of his work to Facebook. According to Stripspeciaalzaak, that included this page, although it no longer seems to be available from Facebook:
Clearly a page from (or possibly a study for) his long-in-development one-shout Soumaya, written by Zidrou, it appears to show some kind of dream sequence, with Hardy’s more realistic character style on display. The album is expected in 2018.
