The artist of this week’s strip is Isa (Isabelle Denis), whose other contributions to the Journal include Puddingham Palace and Les Ménagères (“The Cleaning Ladies”).
Christophe Bertschy‘s main comic in the Journal is Nelson.
Marc Hardy is currently at work on his Spirou one-shot, Soumaya. He’s otherwise most familiar from the graveyard-digger series Pierre Tombal.
This strip – apparently an attempt to rehabilitate Seccotine within this story – is by Claire Bouilhac, who draws Maud Mutante and various editorial comics for the Journal.
Bruno Madaule‘s usual contribution to the Journal de Spirou is Givrés! – but more recently he’s also been represented with the strip Cramés, drawn under the mysterious pseudonym “Eluadam”.
Guillaume Bianco does a whole lot of comics for the Journal, including Zizi Chauve-souris (“Zizi the Bat”) and as a contributor to the Atelier Mastodonte. He also writes the very charming Ernest & Rebecca.
